Srinagar, Jan 8: The Government Medical College (GMC), Srinagar has ordered the reconstitution of the Scientific Research Committee (SRC) for the Year 2023-24.
The SRC is going to have Dr Sabhiya Majid, Professor & Head of the Department of Biochemistry GMC, Srinagar as its Chairperson while Dr Imran Sayeed, Department of Physiology, GMC, Srinagar has been designated as the Member Secretary of the committee.
Dr Syed Sajjad Nazir, Professor & Head Department of Urology, GMC Srinagar, Dr Showkat Ahmad Kadla, Professor & Head Department of Medical Gastroenterology, and Dr Syed Shafiq Alam, Professor & Head Department of Neurosurgery have been designated as members of the committee.
Other members of the SRC include Dr Bashir Ahmad Sanaie, Professor & Head of Neurology, Dr Khalid Mohi-ud-Din Mir, Professor & Head of the Department of Cardiology, Hayat Mohammad Ahmad Bhat, I/C Head Department of Endocrinology, Dr. Ajaz Ahmad, Research Scientist -I, and Dr Mohd Younis Rather Research Scientist -II.
