SRINAGAR, Oct 28: A 7-year-old boy was mauled to death in Handwara while another boy was critically injured in Bandipora when a wild animal attacked him.
Police said a leopard killed a 7 years old boy Faheem Ahmed Lone son of Abdul Rashid of Ucharhal, Magam in the village Magam, Handwara, in district Kupwara.
In another wild animal attack, a bear attacked a 13-year-old boy Manzoor Ahmad Gojjar son of Mohammad Gojjar of Jurk Mohalla, Hapatnar, Quil Muqam, Bandipora district. With critical injuries, the boy was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Bandipora for treatment, he said.
