DODA, Jan 9: Acting tough against illegal mining in Sub-Division Gandoh, today, on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan, a team of Mining Department under the supervision of District Mineral Officer Doda, Sunil Manhas, with full cooperation of Police Department especially SHO Gandoh, Vikram Bandral, made a surprise visit at Dudwar Nalla of the Sub-Division and seized three vehicles involved in illegal mining in the area.
The vehicles have been booked under Mining Act. In a handout the department stated that action against illegal mining shall be intensified.
