Successive State Govts failed to mitigate refugees’ problems: BJP

JAMMU, Oct 28: BJP MP and Prabhari J&K Avinash Roy Khanna today said the hapless refugees living in this part of country have been deprived of the benefits of democracy till date.
Mr Khanna who joined the refugees Adhikar Yatra today which has been launched by his Party in last week from border district Poonch today covered Rah-Sahyot, Chowki Choura, Dhanna, Dhano, Ambi, Jalara, Dori Dager, Jagwan, Kharah, Pallanwala, Khour, Jourian areas of Akhnoor and Khour constituencies before their night halt at Akhnoor town.
He said the West Pak and PoK refugees continue to pass a miserable life as the successive State Governments failed to mitigate their sufferings.
The yatra is led by BJP State president Jugal Kishore Sharma and he is accompanied by State vice-president Chander Prakash Ganga, State general secretary & Yatra Incharge Rajiv Jasrotia, BJP State Cells Incharge Sat Sharma (C.A), Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency Incharge Yudhvir Sethi, State Publicity Secretary, Aseem Gupta and BJYM State President Ravinder Raina.
Condemning yestersay’s serial blasts in Patna, Avinash Roy Khanna said that both Congress-led UPA and Nitish led Bihar Governments are responsible for it. He said that the Hunkar Rally was announced months ago and the preparations were going on for the last few weeks still no effective steps were taken for its security. He said the UPA is frightened as masses will oust it from power in next year elections. This is the reason that its leaders are making funny and irrelevant utterances in frustration.
He said that the time has come when the people should get united to get rid of the parties like Congress and its allies to make way for the BJP and its Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. He appealed the people to use the voting day wisely and give BJP a chance to serve the nation for complete five year term.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that BJP is not only for vote bank politics but a mission with the prime motive of serving the nation and its people.
He said BJP is committed to the cause of the refugees and the yatra is testimony to the same.
