REASI, Jan 10: A teenaged biker was killed and five persons were injured in separate road accidents across Reasi district on Tuesday.
A 19-year youth was knocked to death when his bike (JK20B-4679) was hit by a passenger bus near Katra. The deceased was identified as Naman Heera, son of Rakesh Kumar, resident of Ward number 12, Panthal road, Katra, presently putting up at Bhagtha. He was shifted to CHC Katra where doctors declared him as brought dead.
In another road accident, father and his daughter were seriously injured when their Scorpio car (JK20B 1000) skidded off the road near Serbad on Katra – Reasi Road. The injured were shifted to CHC Katra for treatment. They were identified as Ashok Kumar, son of Fakir Chand and his daughter Divya Jyoti, both resident of Sula, Reasi. After giving first aid, doctors referred them to GMC Hospital Jammu for advanced treatment.
Meanwhile, three persons were injured in collision between an Auto and Tipper at Kambal Danga area on Reasi – Aghar Ballian road. All the injured were shifted to District Hospital Reasi and their condition was stated to be stable.
The injured were identified as Mohd Shafi, son of Sharaf Din, resident of Nawabad, Reasi; Karnail Singh, son of Laj Singh, resident of Talwara and Shamas Din, son of Abdul Rashid, resident of Mahore.
