DODA, Jan 10: A 2-day State Level Management Development Programme (MDP) for Nursing Professionals/Tutors and MSc Nursing students of Government and Private Nursing Colleges/GNM/ANMT Schools of Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar commenced today Government Medical College (GMC) Doda.
Dr Yashpal Sharma (Director Coordination, New Medical Colleges and National president AHA India) was the chief guest of the event, organized by Academy of Hospital Administration (AHA) India in collaboration with GMC Doda. Professor (Dr) Noor Ali (Principal GMC Doda), Dr Yudhveer Singh, Medical Superintendent (MS) GMC Doda and Prof (Dr) Tariq Azad (Prof GMC Doda) were present on the occasion.
More than 125 participants are taking part in the training program. Topics of the program include Medical Negligence, Communication & Soft Skills, Women Empowerment & Development, Role of Nursing in Prevention of Hospital Infection, Ethical & Legal Issues related to Nursing Management in Hospitals, Challenges in Management Clinical Services, HR & Conflict Management, Disaster Management, Role of Nursing Staff, Skilled Based Methods of Teaching and Learning and Quality Assurance in nursing.
Resource persons include Dr Beena Jad (Senior Consultant, Narayana Hospital Katra), Dr Vijay Raina (MS Government Hospital Sarwal), Dr Yashpal Sharma, Dr Neelam Saba (Assistant Professor, GDC Doda), Dr Arun Sharma (MS MCH Hospital, Jammu), Dr Yudhvir Singh, Bincy Cherian (Assistant Professor, College of Nursing Kishtwar), Ajit KK (Assistant Professor, College of Nursing Kishtwar), Dr Umesh Choudhary (Assistant Professor, Bhaderwah Campus, JU) and Dr Manoj Bhagat (Principal, Regional Institute of H&FW Nagrota).
