Teachers Federation highlights demands

JAMMU, Oct 29: Deputation of All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation today met Sushil Kumar Sharma Personnel Officer, Director School Education (DSE), Jammu and submitted a charter of demands highlighting the problems of teachers community to him.
The delegation was led by Balwant Singh Jamwal president of the Federation. It demanded framing of fool proof transfer policy, filling up of all vacant posts of teachers, masters, lecturers and non teaching staff in educational institutions and release of leave encashment for teachers in lieu of their non availed leave.
The memorandum further demanded senior teachers grade to trained under graduate teachers, release of grants in time, exempting teachers from extra academic duties, transfer of teachers working in far flung areas for over three years, inclusion of five year services during the regularization of ReT teachers,  amendment in the transfer rule and suitable adjustment of teachers repatriated from districts of Reasi, Doda, Udhampur, Ramban in their home districts.
