KATRA, Oct 29: The Sixth Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) celebrated its Raising Day at the base camp of Katra Mata Vaishnodevi today.
The Unit personnel organized a colourful function at Katra where officers, jawans and even the families of the force personnel participated besides employees of Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine Board. Some prominent persons of the area were also present.
The function was organized under the chairmanship of Commandant of the Battalion Sunil Kumar. The CRPF personnel presented cultural programme. A Barha Khana was arranged to mark the occasion. At Bhawan, a special lunch was offered to the jawans and employees/ workers of Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine Board under the supervision of Assistant Commandant A K Jha.
