BJP failed to deliver what it had promised to people: NPP

JAMMU, Jan 15: J&K National Panthers Party (JKNPP), president Vilakshan Singh has alleged that BJP has failed to deliver what it had promised to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
A meeting of the State secretariat of J&K National Panthers Party was held at its party office Gandhi Nagar Jammu under the chairmanship of its president Vilakshan Singh. While addressing the office bearers of the party, president asked them to gear up for the Assembly, Panchayat as well as Municipal elections.
Singh said that the party workers should remain ready for the elections notwithstanding the fact that elections have not been announced. He said that there is growing annoyance of the public with the BJP in J&K. BJP has failed to deliver what it had promised to the people. People from all walks of life are suffering and BJP is adding fuel to the fire. He said that the BJP government is showing the same adamant behaviour which was exhibited by Congress when the latter was in power. He said that BJP shall also meet the same fate as that of Congress.
NPP leader said that during BJP rule the unemployment is growing at an unprecedented rate. Members of the minority community are being killed by the terrorists at their whims and fancies and the government has failed to ensure safety of the minorities in J&K. BJP has even failed to take selection processes to logical ends in a fair and transparent manner and the selection processes have been marred by large scale corruption and the valuable time of the job aspirants has been wasted due to inefficiency of the government. Daily wagers are on roads seeking their regularization.
He said JKNPP is the only alternate and asked the party workers to strengthen the party at grass root level. Others who addressed the meeting included Gunwant Singh, Naresh Chib, Parmjeet Singh Marshal, Bansi Lal, Ravinder Jamwal, Pushpinder Singh, Taranter Singh and others.
