JAMMU, Jan 15: Miran Sahib has claimed to have solved a theft case of a vehicle.
Acting on a complaint lodged at Police Station Miran Sahib by a person namely Harmeet Singh Maini son of Satpal Singh Maini, resident of Simbal Morh, regarding theft of his Santro Car bearing Registration Number JK02L-3847 by some unknown person in the area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Miran Sahib, a case FIR Number 09/2023 U/S 379/IPC was registered in Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
To solve the case, a special team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq was constituted by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh. During investigation, the Police team with the help of CCTV footages of the area arrested the thief identified as Kuldeep Kumar alias Raja son of Rashpal, resident of Dak Banglaw (Marallian) near Gujar Basti and on his disclosure, the stolen Santro car was recovered from him.
Further investigation of the case was going on.
