JAMMU, Jan 16: Satwari Police today arrested a drug peddler with one kilogram of ganja.
“A team of Police Station Satwari constituted under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma and led by SHO Satwari Inspector Sameer Jeelani rounded up a suspect namely Amola Ram son of Ram Das Ram, resident of Dayaram Bhaloin (district Gopalganj),” a police spokesman said.
He said during search, 1 kg of ganja was recovered from the possession of the suspect. “In this regard, a case FIR Number 16/2023 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Satwari and the accused got arrested,” the spokesman said, adding, further investigation of the case was going on.
