Khatri Maha Sabha endorses support to package employees

JAMMU, Jan 17: Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Maha Sahba under the leadership of its chairman / Ramesh Chander Mahajan and its members expressed dismay over the approach of Union and LG Government towards the serious problem of seven lakh Kashmiri Hindus who are being ignored and have suffered a lot in 33 year long exile.
The Sabha said the minority employees serving in Kashmir Valley, who are seeking right to live and justice have been left in lurch by the Government. Kashmiri Khatri Hindus Maha Sabha completely supporting AMDEAK for their genuine demands till their logical conclusion. It demanded permanent solution of relocation with implementation of transfer policies at par with State and Central Government employees. The Sabha demanded constitution of the Committee from (GAD) General Administration Department for issuance of transfer orders in favour of suffering PM package employees from Kashmir Valley to various Jammu departments and their salaries should be released and they be also provided relief under breathing period with continue disbursement of their salaries till the security scenario would come back to normal in Kashmir valley.
Further beside all right of benefits in lieu of jobs of employees should be cleared which are pending for a long period i.e grant of time bound promotions , giving benefit of SRO 43 of 1994 at par with the State and Central Government employees with ex-gratia relief to the tune of one crore with Government jobs to the next kin , revocation of unconditional bond of agreement and doing away with the biased transfer policy imposed on migrant employees under SRO 412.
The Sabha urged the Union Government and Lt Governor administration for settling the genuine demands of all PM package and minority employees on priority basis .
