UDHAMPUR, Oct 30: A motorcyclist and a pedestrian were killed in separate road accidents across Udhampur, here today.
A pedestrian was knocked to death by a truck bearing registration number HR69-6982 on the National Highway near Tolldi Nallah Udhampur. The deceased was identified as Tarik Ahmed Mir, son of Ali Mohd of Bandipora Kashmir.
Police has seized the truck and arrested its driver, identified as Amran son of Abdul Qayoom of Baramullah Kashmir.
A motorcyclist died while his pillion rider sustained injuries after their bike skidded off the road near Battal Morh.
The deceased was identified as Prince son of Barbat while the injured, namely Abishak Attri son of Dayal Prshad of Ward Number 2 Samba, has been admitted in the hospital.
