RAJOURI, Jan 19: A protest was held by local public against Jal Shakti Department in Panchayat Hayatpura near Rajouri today.
Protesting people told that the pipeline of PHE/ Jal Shakti Department was laid in 1990s but till date they have not seen any employees of department except one. The pipes are in worst condition, many of them have developed leakages and civilians are managing all at their own. Most of times water remain not available in the area due to non availability of employees of department. They sought intervention of DC Rajouri into the matter.
