JAMMU, Oct 31: Senior Citizens Morning Walkers Club Gole Market has strongly opposed the ERA plan of constructing a multi -storey parking site at the Central Park in Gole Market area and threatened to approach the court against the move.
In a statement, the Club member Darshan Lal Gupta said that instead of converting the park site, the authorities should consider the other two empty patches of land in its vicinity for the purpose of shopping complex.
If the authorities go ahead with their proposal to raze the park for parking site, the Club would be forced to knock the doors of court, Mr Gupta said and also raised objection over construction of a shopping complex at Swarn Theare against the approved plan of the colony.
