Koul asks party Vistaraks to fortify booths

JAMMU, Jan 22: Bhartiya Janata Party General Secretary (organization), Ashok Koul has asked the party Vistaraks (whole timers) to fortify the booths in view of the approaching elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
Koul was chairing a meeting here at BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu along with BJP General Secretary, Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal and Convenor, Vistarak Yojana, Pawan Sharma, who is also Prabhari, District Doda.
As per a statement, addressing the Vistaraks, Ashok Koul apprised them of their duties.
It said that the BJP General Secretary (Organization), Koul, asked the Vistaraks to rope-in the prominent members of the civil society by telling them about various initiatives of the Narendra Modi-led Central Government.
He also asked them to assume proactive role in reaching up to the ground level party activists to prepare them for the approaching elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
He also asked the Vistaraks to hold party programmes at booth level with the involvement of prominent members of the civil society.
While Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal stressed on increased Pravas by the party activists Pawan Sharma presented a brief overview of the Vistarak Yojana by assuring the party that the vistaraks will leave no stone unturned in reaching out to all the people and party activists.
