Two injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Jan 22: Two persons were injured today in two separate road accidents occurred on city outskirts.
According to the reports, a 21-year-old youth identified as Aman Kumar son of Tarsem Lal, resident of Gharota, received serious injuries when a motorcycle on which he was travelling, was hit by an unknown vehicle at Karwanda under the jurisdiction of Police Station Gharota. The injured youth was immediately taken to nearby SDH Kot Bhalwal, from where he was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
Similarly, an 18-year-old youth namely Sachin Singh son of Yashpal Singh, resident of Gurha Manhasa (Pargwal) was hit and grievously injured by an unknown vehicle at Gurha Manhasa. The injured youth was shifted to GMCH Jammu for medical treatment.
As per reports, the condition of both the injured persons was critical when the last reports came. Meanwhile, in both cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
