JAMMU, Oct 31: Department of Preventive and Community Density of Indira Gandhi Government Dental College organized a dental health camp under the guidance of Dr Romesh Singh Head of Department for Department of PCD at Government Higher Secondary School Sarwal.
In this camp about 250 students were examined by a team of doctors comprising of Dr Rakesh Raina, Dr Sangeeta Bhagat, Dr Saleema Parveen, Asif Iqbal Choudhary, Imran Bhandey Harpreet Singh intern, Shabir Ahmed technician and 40 other students of final year BDS.
The students during the camp were examined for various dental diseases and detailed health talk was given on various talks like sensitive periodontitis, cancer and effect of smoking on oral health.
Students were also given demonstration about brushing techniques and how to maintain proper oral hygiene.
