14 bovines rescued, 2 held

JAMMU, Oct 31: Nagrota police today rescued 14 bovine animals and arrested two smugglers.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Nagrota Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK02AA-2717.
During search, police rescued 14 bovine animals and arrested two smugglers namely Mohammad Rafiq, son of Mohammad Shafi of Kansi Patta and Mohammad Mansa, son of Abdul Gani of Talwara, district Reasi.
A case under FIR number 327/13 and under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Nagrota Police Station and investigation started.
Police party led by SHO Parvez Sajjad made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Khalik Choudhary.
