JAMMU, Oct 31: Governor NN Vohra, who is also chairman of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) has appointed Dr Mandeep K Bhandari, Additional Chief Executive Officer (ACEO) of the Board as CEO with effect from November 1, 2013.
An official handout said: “in view of the fast increasing responsibilities of the Shrine Board, the Governor had decided that it was necessary for the Board to have a whole time CEO”.
Presently, Principal Secretary to Governor, Navin Choudhary is CEO of the SMVDSB.
With Dr Bhandari elevated as CEO, the post of Additional CEO SMVDSB would fall vacant and was likely to be filled soon.
