SRINAGAR, Jan 24: The inhabitants of Mustafa Abad and Umar Abad, Zaina Kot, Srinagar have appealed the Government to ensure that the pump shed at Shalteng be made functional round the clock for proper drainage in the area.
The residents of two colonies while expressing their satisfaction over the construction of drainage system in the area said this way a long pending demand of the people has been fulfilled by the LG administration and departments including ERA and Srinagar Municipality.
They said that the macdamization of the area up to Sector One Mustafa Abad and Umar Abad has been completed and this has provided a lot of succor to the people of the two colonies. They expressed the hope that the other demands of the area will also be looked into by the authorities.
