JAMMU, Jan 27: TR Gupta Public Charitable Trust organised a free multispecialty medical camp and langar here at the Trust Bhawan on Friday.
As per a statement, over 400 patients were examined by a team of doctors during the camp and over 600 had the prasad in the langar. Free medicines were also distributed among the needy patients besides conducting free HB and blood sugar tests of around 80 patients.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ashok Kumar Gupta, former HoD Paediatrics, GMC Jammu, informed that this was the third such free medical camp organised by the trust in the last 6 months.
“Similar camps would be organised in future as well as the TR Gupta Trust promises to keep serving the destitute people,” he said.
Pertinently, TR Gupta, the founder of the trust, is a great philanthropist, who is involved in various social activities for the past so many years.
While Dr Ashul Jamwal, Dr Rajnish Anand, Dr Kuldeep Gulbgotra, Dr Ved Prakash Gupta, Dr Surbhi Gupta, Dr Nitika Gupta, Dr Rishabh Sharma and Dr Priya Chandel rendered their valuable services in the camp Dr Ashok Kumar Gupta, Naresh Kumar Gupta, Rajinder Motial, Yash Pal Gupta and Kailash Langer, the trustees supervised the camp and langar.
