Theft case solved; stolen cash, other items recovered

JAMMU, Jan 27: Bishnah Police today claimed to have solved a theft case by arresting three thieves and recovering stolen cash and other articles on his disclosure.
“Acting on a complaint lodged at Police Station Bishnah by a person namely Girdhari Lal son of Chunni Lal of Jinder Khurd (Bishnah) that some thieves struck his house and stole a cash of Rs 1.5 lakh, silver ornaments and clothes, a case under FIR Number 28/2023 U/S 454/380 IPC was registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started,” a Police spokesman said.
He said a team of Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Vikram Sharma after strenuous efforts finally arrested three accused namely Sunil Kumar alias Kali son of Sohan Lal, Parshotam Jangral alias Rashu son of Kuldeep Raj, both resident of Jinder Khurd (Bishnah) and Lovejeet Singh alias Love son of Daleep Singh of Chumbian Jattan (Bishnah).
“On their disclosure, stolen cash of Rs 1 lakh and stolen clothes were recovered from the accused,” the spokesman said, adding, further investigation of the case was going on.
The arrest and seizure was made under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh.
