Vistara distributes study material among students

JAMMU, Jan 28: Vistara Jammu today distributed school bags, notebooks, drawing pads, sketch colors, pencil boxes with pencil eraser and sharpeners to 46 beneficiary students in Government Primary School Narwal under its Community Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
The study material etc were distributed by Vistara team headed by Ms Archana Koul where children from BPL families come to study in hope for a better future. “We Vistara team also tried to explain work culture at airport to students and also presented them with boarding passes with their names as souvenir”.
As part of its CSR outreach, Vistara nurtures, one of the flagship programmes is ‘Book Your Future’.
‘Book Your Future’ aligns with the company’s CSR focus area of ‘Children & Education’. It aims at enabling access to educational resources, books and learning interventions that ensure holistic development of children with an emphasis on aviation. The interventions range from storytelling to art and craft in order to orient children to the basics of aviation. “Since FY21, we have distributed over 650 books and educational resources and impacted 400+ children across the country as part of this programme”.
As part of the company’s 8th anniversary celebrations, Vistara’s airport teams have united to champion the ‘Book Your Future’ program with a modest goal of impacting 1000 children across the country, equipping them with educational resources and interventions that acquaint them with the world of aviation.
