JAMMU, Jan 29: Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh inaugurated V-Lounge in officer’s mess here at Gulshan Ground Jammu on Sunday.
As per a statement, Special DG Crime, AK Choudhary, ADGP Armed SJM Gillani, ADGP Security, DR SD Singh Jamwal, ADGP Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh among other officers were also present on the occasion.
“The V-Lounge, a multipurpose hall has been created in the officer’s mess with all the necessary facilities,” read the statement.
It is important to mention here that police are running GOs and NGOs messes at different places of the UT which provide accommodation to the touring officers. Besides, police headquarters takes up many works regularly at various places to provide better accommodation to officers and the jawans.
