NEW DELHI, Nov 2: quiet conditions developed in the wholesale sugar market at national capital today with prices after moving both ways on sporadic demand and steady supply, finished same on last levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also settled on previous closing levels in the absence of buying support.
The following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Gur chakku 2,900-3,000, pedi 2,800-2,900, dhayya 2,850-2,950 and shakkar 3,200-3,300.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,400-2,450, chakku 2,650-2,800 khurpa 2,450-2,500 and Ladoo 2,700-2,750.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,700-2,750 and dhayya 2,700-2,750. (PTI)
