Warm farewell accorded to retirees

JAMMU, Jan 31: A fare well party was organized in Government Degree College for Women (GDCW) Kathua to give a warm send off to the College Principal Dr Sangita Nagari, on her superannuation. All the staff members including teaching, non-teaching and local fund employees wished the retiring Principal a very happy, cheerful and healthy retired life.
The staff of Gandhi Memorial Science College headed by Principal Prof Rajesh Gupta accorded warm send off to Prof Poonam Sharma (Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry) on her superannuation today. While acknowledging the outstanding contribution of the retiring officer, the Principal and other staff wished her good health and prosperity.
A warm farewell was given by faculty of Government Medical College, Jammu to Dr Bhupesh Khajuria (HoD Forensic Medicine), Dr Noor Ali (Principal GMC Doda and HoD CTVS) and Lakhwant Singh (XEn Mechanical) on their superannuation today. Principal GMC Jammu Dr Shashi Sudan Sharma and other faculty members extended their wishes to the retiring doctors/officers.
A warm send off was given to Rajesh Kumar, Executive Engineer (Civil), who retired today from Kishtwar Development Authority, Headquarter Kishtwar, after putting 35 years in Government service in different departments, particularly PWD (R&B) Department. All his colleagues wished him a happy and prosperous retired life.
Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu (SKUAST-J) accorded a warm farewell to the retiring officers/officials—Sunita Sharma (Assistant Registrar), Chinta Devi, ACT (SG) and Kuldeep Sharma (FCLA) at a function held at Baba Jitto Auditorium, SKUAST-J Chatha. Prof SK Gupta, Director Extension, SKUAST-Jammu wished the retiring officers/officials a healthy and happy post retired life.
Kathua Police organized a farewell function in District Police Lines to bid adieu to Randhir Singh (Sub Inspector), Mulkh Raj (Sub – Inspector) and Kishore Kumar (Assistant Sub-Inspector) who got superannuated from their active services today. The send off function was chaired by SSP Kathua Shivdeep Singh Jamwal and other senior officers who wished the retiring officers good health and prosperity for the next phase of their life.
In an impressive function, a warm farewell was given to Krishan Singh, ASM (MTS) at Sheep Husbandry Complex Jammu, who attained superannuation today. Director, Sheep Husbandry Department Jammu, Krishan Lal, in his message acknowledged the contribution of the retiring official and wished him happy and healthy post retirement life.
An impressive farewell function was organized by the Department of Horticulture, Jammu to bid a warm send off to Sham Singh, Head Assistant, who attained superannuation today after rendering more than 39 years of service in the Horticulture Department. Director Horticulture Jammu Ram Sevak, Joint Director Horticulture Jammu and other staff members of the Horticulture Department wished the retiring employee a happy and prosperous post retirement life.
Jammu Police hosted an impressive farewell function in District Police Line Jammu to bid adieu to the officers who superannuated from their active services. The retiring police officials are SI Subash Singh, SI Angrez Singh, SI Rash Paul Singh, SI Sarabjeet Singh, SI Balbir Singh, ASI Ashok Kumar, ASI Brij Paul Singh, HC Kuldeep Dutta, SPO Shamsher Sharma and SPO Suresh Chander. The send-off function was chaired by SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta along with other senior officers who wished the retiring officers/officials good health and long life for the next phase of their life.
District Police Samba accorded a warm send-off to five retiring officers in an impressive farewell function organized at District Police Office Samba. The officers retired from the service on superannuation include Accounts Officer Rattan Lal, SI Roop Singh, SI Janak Raj, SI Vijay Singh and SI Suraj Ram. SSP Samba Benam Tosh along with other senior officers presided over the farewell function and wished all the retiring officers a happy and prosperous retired life. On the occasion, retirement gifts amounting to Rs 1 lakh cash were also presented to each retiring police officer on behalf of J&K Police Department.
The staff of Fire Station (4ASD), Nagrota gave a warm farewell to Sunil Kumar, Station Officer, on his retirement after attaining the age of superannuation today. All the staff members wished the retiring officer for his energetic post retirement life.
Chuni Lal, an employee of Chief Education Office (CEO) Udhampur, was accorded a warm send off by her colleagues on his superannuation. On the occasion, Joint Director of School Education Department Udhampur-Reasi Dhirendar Sharma and Chief Education Officer Udhampur Arvin Kumar Koul extend their warm wishes to the retiree for his post-retirement life.
Sita Ram, Headmaster of Government High School (GHS) Chapper in Dudu zone of Udhampur district, was given a warm sendoff by the staff members and students of the School, on his retirement. He superannuated today after serving the School Education Department for about 37 years.
