REASI, Jan 31: In an apparent case of suicide, a middle aged man was found hanging from tree in jungle area of Gari under mysterious circumstances, here today.
The deceased was identified as Balvir Singh, age around 57 years, son of Suraj Ram, resident of Gari, tehsil Thakrakote in district Reasi. He was found hanging from a tree in an isolated area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Arnas.
On being informed by some locals, Police shifted the dead body to District Hospital Reasi for post mortem. An inquest proceeding, under 174 CrPC has been initiated in this regard at Police Station Arnas.
