JAMMU, Feb 2: Police in Miran Sahib area claimed today that they have arrested a person who was evading his arrest for the past 9 years.
A police spokesperson said that acting on specific information, one absconder, Sheetal Singh son of Darshan Singh of Rattian, RS Pura who was evading his arrest in case FIR number 52/2014 under sections 309/324 RPC, was held with the help of CCTV footage.
“The accused was produced before the Additional Special Mobile Magistrate, RS Pura and shall be held in judicial custody till further hearing,” said the police spokesperson.
