Whenever there is some public problem to be considered , the shortage of funds is always cited as the reason of Government’s inaction. It is a practice that in the name of Durbar move or for the sake of Durbar move, Jammu roads get repaired and a facelift received which otherwise should have been there as a normal practice.. It is a matter of surprise that Government has slashed the city budget for the purpose under reference but only those roads which are used by the political VIPs are given a facelift even with patch work method.
What about those roads which have been dug out by ERA and other departments related to laying of sewerage pipes some two to three years back. When shall such roads attract the authorities’ attention?
