JAMMU, Feb 7: A team of JPDCL disconnected several illegal power connections in Bhalwal Block of the District on Tuesday.
As per the statement, the JPDCL team was led by Assistant Executive Engineer Electric Sub-Division 2nd Janipur, HS Puri and assisted by AE, Iftikhar Wani and Federal Manager, Sat Paul.
The team inspected Karwanda, Dhar, Dharochan, Balwan, Upper Baran areas of Bhalwal Block and removed several illegal hooking/power connections while imposing heavy penalty on the people indulging in the power theft.
HS Puri, AEE, Electric Sub-Division 2nd, Janipur, said that similar drives will continue to stop power theft in future as well.
