JAMMU, Feb 8: Police in Jammu’s Bishnah area claimed today that they have arrested a drug peddler and recovered 3.5 grams of heroin-like-substance from his possession.
They said that Pawan Kumar alias Tirth of Village Mehmoodpur, Bishnah was caught at a surprise naka laid by the police at Kotli Charkan Morh area of Bishnah.
“The accused has been booked in case FIR number 44/2023 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bishnah and further investigations are taken up,” police said.
