UDHAMPUR, Feb 9: Police Community Participation Group (PCPG) meeting was held at Kud, here today.
The meeting was chaired by SDPO Chenani, Sheikh Tahir Amin, who was flanked by Insp Vijay Kumar Thakur, SHO Kud and SI Nishant Sharma.
The meeting was attended by Sarpanch Kud Kuldeep Raj; President Beopaar Mandal Kud, Shahbaz Ahmed; Numberdar, Chowkidar and respectables of Kud area. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like frequent power cuts, repair works of Mall road, installation of CCTV in Kud market etc.
SDPO Chenani assured participants that the issues pertaining to the Police will be resolved within shortest possible time and other issues will be taken up with the Civil administration for their early redressal.
Besides, SDPO Chenani imparted valuable information regarding the drug menace in the society and prevailing security scenario in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir. SDPO also made the participants aware to remain extra vigilant in their day-to-day life keeping in view the security scenario of Jammu division.
The PCPG meeting focused on the mission “Stark Nagrik Abhiyaan” to disseminate the message of Govt. to every citizen of the country to remain extra-vigilant during their routine works. People were requested to cooperate and support in addressing the issues and maintain peace in the area.
