Possession of 4 kanal land taken in Navi Mumbai for new J&K Bhawan

JAMMU, Feb 9: Government of Jammu and Kashmir has taken over the possession of 4 kanals land in Sector 16, Khargar, Navi Mumbai from CIDCO Maharashtra for the construction of new J&K Bhawan.
The possession of the land was taken under the directions of Vijay Kumar Bidhuri (Principal Resident Commissioner, Government of J&K) and under close supervision of Neeraj Kumar (Additional Resident Commissioner) and Sivenay Kumari (Assistant Resident Commissioner, Mumbai) by a team headed by Shruti Bhardwaj (Manager, J&K House, Mumbai), yesterday.
Sanjay Koul (Under Secretary, RCO) was also present on the spot along with PwD officials namely Vikas Manhas. The land shall be utilized for construction of a new J&K Bhawan in Navi Mumbai. This will be a relief for J&K residents who visit Mumbai especially for medical treatment and cannot afford expensive stay in Mumbai.
