DIPR hosts symposium on cultural practices for sustainable environment

JAMMU, Feb 9: A symposium on Cultural Practices for Sustainable Environment cum Cultural program was today organised by the Jammu Cultural Unit of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) in Government SPMR College of Commerce.
As many as 10 students participated in the symposium competition.
The first prize was bagged by Rupal, second prize was won by Priya, while third prize went to Aayushi. Competition was judged by Professors of College Dr. Monika Malhotra, Dr. Jaswinder and Prof. Aphan Ali.
The program was coordinated by Dr. Monika Malhotra. Among others present in the program were Dr. Sandhya Bhardwaj, Prof. Savita Jamwal, Prof. Deepak Pathania, staff members of College and artists of Cultural Wing and students.
While speaking on the occasion, Principal of College, Dr. Surinder Kumar Sharma, shared his views on the topic and also appreciated the students and artists of Department of Information and Public Relations for organizing such a meaningful program to aware the future of the nation.
In addition to the symposium a scintillating cultural program was presented by the artists of Cultural Unit Jammu and students of College which was very much enjoyed by the audience.
The program was conducted under the supervision of Cultural Officer, Parul Khajuria.
