LEH, Feb 9: A delegation from Tsaga Rongo Panchayat Halqa, led by its Sarpanch Skarma Dorjay, called on the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, RK Mathur, at Raj Niwas today.
Sarpanch Skarma Dorjay raised several issues related to the Panchayat Halqa, viz the need for repairing and restoration of the road from Loma to Tsaga; need for improving telecommunication connectivity through the installation of mobile towers at Tsaga and Rongo villages; need for the construction of a bridge over Anlay River at Lal-Pahadi, etc.
The delegation also requested for intervention in giving preference to locals as casual paid labourers (CPL) in BRO and GREF.
