JAMMU, Feb 9: A man died today due to electrocution in Gho Manhasa area of city outskirts.
The deceased was identified as an electrician namely Surinder Kumar (30) son of Ram Dayal, resident of Badhrore (Gho Manhasa), Police sources said, adding, he came in contact with a high tension electric passing through an under-construction house at Khanpur (Gho Manhasa), where he was doing some electrical work and died on the spot.
He said the body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while a case in this connection was registered in concerned police station and further investigation started.
