KISHTWAR, Feb 10: A fire broke out here at Tehsil office Chattroo on Friday noon, causing damage to the unused building, police said.
They said the Tehsil office caught fire from a heating device (Bukhari) used inside the building.
“Soon after the news of the fire spread, locals, army personnel and a police team reached at the spot and contained the flames,” said a police spokesperson.
No major loss has been reported in the fire incident, he added.
