JAMMU, Feb 11: All J&K SC and ST Retired Employees Forum (SCSTREF) held its monthly meeting at Dalit Sahitya Akademy Lower Roop Nagar here and discussed issues for the welfare of underprivileged.
A handout of the Forum stated that having completed its terms the existing executive body of the Forum has been dissolved and a new body has been formed.
In the new body Joginder Paul (Retd. Superintending Engineer) has been elected as the president and Surinder Lakhnotra (Retd. Executive Engineer) has been elected as general secretary of the Forum.
Rest of the office bearers will be nominated by the president and general secretary of the Forum.
The election was conducted by Gopal Dogra as presiding officer.
The meeting was attended by C.L Banal, M.L Hans, T.C Bavoria, J.R Aryan, Paras Ram Angral, Mohinder Kumar, Ram Lal, Bihari Lal Digra, S.D Digra, V.D Triyal, Vijay Kumar Bhagat, Basi Lal and V.S Sagar besides others.
