JAMMU, Feb 12: A police public meeting was conducted here at Kanachak area on Sunday, a police official said.
As per an official statement, the meeting was chaired by SP Rural Rahul Charak along with SDPO Domana, Sunil Singh and SHO Kanachak, Inspector Rahul Mahajan.
The meeting was participated by village Sarpanches, Panches and other respectable citizens of the adjoining areas, it said.
The statement further said that a number of issues related to BDC Chairman, DDC member, 5-6 Sarpanches and other citizens were discussed in the meeting threadbare. The grievances of all the participants were heard patiently and they were assured that they will be taken up with the concerned departments.
The participants were encouraged to provide full cooperation to police in prevention and detection of crime.
