JAMMU, Feb 12: At least three persons were injured in a brawl at a marriage function in Akhnoor area on Sunday, police said.
They said one Sanjay Sharma (35) of Raje Chack was attacked by some people during
a marriage function in Asha Palace, Akhnoor. Two persons, Subhash Chander and Vikcy Sharma, who tried to save Sanjay Sharma, were also injured in the attack.
“All the injured were taken to SDH Akhnoor from where one Sanjay Sharma was further
referred to GMC Jammu for advanced treatment,” police said.
Acting on the written complaint, Jammu and Kashmir
Police in Akhnoor have registered an FIR against the accused under the relevant sections of
the law and taken up further investigations.
