JAMMU, Feb 13: Kavinder Gupta, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, while expressing his full faith in Indian judiciary has slammed the former CM of J&K, Mehbooba Mufti for her reaction to the Apex Court decision on Delimitation Commission.
In a statement issued to media here today, Kavinder Gupta said that the BJP Government led by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi at the Centre is known for strictly abiding by the law of the land and the Constitution of the Delimitation Commission was fully in consonance with the law in force and as per the constitutional mandate.
Kavinder Gupta came down heavily on the former CM of J&K and other Valley based politicians for not accepting the Supreme Court decision.
Specifically referring to Mehbooba’s remarks, Kavinder said that her atrocious remarks should spring no surprise as she has more faith in Pakistan and its institutions which is evident from the statements made by her smelling of being the spokesperson of the rogue nation. He said that she deserves to be condemned for her remarks.
