RAMBAN, Feb 13: Police here today recovered a minor girl within 72 hours and arrested her kidnapper. As per the case on the evening of February 10, 2023, one Abdul Rashid lodged a complaint that his minor daughter was kidnapped by Abdul Karim son of Ab. Rashid resident of Dalwa, Tehsil Gool and others.
In this regard police registered an FIR with no. 14/2023 U/S 363, 109 IPC and investigation was entrusted to SI Mohd Ashiq Bhat.
Acting under the supervision of SHO Police Station Gool, Inspector Nazir Ahmed and Nihar Ranjan, SDPO Gool and under the overall supervision of SP Ramban, Mohita Sharma, cops used human and technical intelligence and recovered the kidnapped girl from Udhampur along with kidnapper Abdul Karim.
After conducting the medical examination and proper counselling, the said girl was handed over to her guardians. Investigation in the case was underway.
