JAMMU, Feb 15: Jammu and Kashmir Police claimed to have arrested an absconder from Bishnah town who was evading his arrest for the past three years.
A police spokesperson said that Sikandar Kumar of Kool Kalan, RS Pura, Jammu was wanted in case FIR number 176/2020 under sections 379, 420, 467, 468, and 120-B of the IPC registered at Police Station Bishnah.
A warrant was also issued against the accused by the court of JMIC Bishnah under section 512 of the CrPC, he said.
“Acting on specific inputs, he was arrested today and produced before the court of JMIC Bishnah,” added the spokesperson.
