DODA, Feb 16: Police here today arrested three liquor smugglers in Assar area with huge quantity of illicit liquor from their possession.
Police sources informed that a Police party from Police Station Assar during routine traffic checking at Dansal Assar intercepted three persons-Surinder Singh, son of Prem Singh, resident of Manshi Bhagwah; Pardeep Singh, son of Panchi Ram, resident of Bijarni Bhagwah and Kalyan Singh, son of Ghambir Singh, resident of Koti Doda.
During their checking cops recovered 86 bottles of illicit liquor which was being taken by them for selling illegally.
In this regard, a case in FIR No. 03/2023 under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Assar and investigation started.
