Dr Mahajan, Dr Tandon awarded prestigious FIMS

JAMMU, Feb 17: Dr Annil Mahajan (former Professor and Head, Department of Medicine, GMC Jammu) and Dr Vishal R Tandon (Professor, GMC Jammu) have been awarded prestigious Fellowship of Indian Menopause Society (FIMS) in the Annual National Conference of Indian Menopause society (IMS) at Calicut, Kerala.
The Fellowship has been awarded to both these doctors on account of meritorious contribution at national level by promoting medical education, research and community services in the field of menopause.
Dr Mahajan has been promoting field of Menopause for nearly last two decades. He is currently Chairperson Research Committee IMS. He has been Editor in Chief Journal Midlife Health (2018-2020). He is already an awardee of FRCP(Edn), FRCP(Glasg), FICP, FIMSA, FIACM, Fellow IMA-AMS. He has more than 150 publications and 15 book chapters to his credit and has edited three books.
Dr Tandon has also contributed immensely in the field of menopause and has remained Editor in Chief of JMH and is presently a Member of Research Committee of IMS and has been regular guest faculty in various National/Zonal Conference of IMS. He is also an awardee of FRCP (Edn), FRCP (Glasg), FIMSA. He has more than 210 publications and 15 book chapters to his credit.
