Srinagar, Nov 8: A man mauled by a bear in South Kashmir’s Awantipora succumbed to his injuries in a hospital on Thursday.
Police said Mohammad Jabber Dar who was injured in a bear attack in Awantipora on October 2 succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura last evening.
A bear attacked and injured Mushtaq Ahmad Rather son of Gul Mohammad of Khaipora Payeen at Hardu Maidan near Check Post. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura for treatment, police said.
