JAMMU, Nov 8: Additional SP Jammu ML Kaith today reviewed situation on the borders and other areas in Kanachak along with Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Domana Rigzin and SHO Kanachak Inspector Jatinder Raina.
Mr Kaith directed the police officials to remain fully prepared to meet with any eventuality on the borders. He said though there was peace along the International Border, the militants from across the border could make attempt to sneak into this side. He said the police should remain ever alert and keep a close rapport with the people of border areas to identify movement of the unwanted persons.
The Additional SP Jammu also inter-acted with the people living in the border areas including Panchayat members and assured them of full support from the police side. He also sought support of the people in maintaining peace in the area.
Mr Kaith asked the SDPO Domana and the SHO Kanachak to intensify night patrolling in the border areas.
