Grand ‘Gurmat Samagam’ organized at Domana

JAMMU, Feb 19: A grand `Gurmat Samagam’ in the memory of Sant Gurbaksh Singh Danna was held today at Gurudwara Sri Guru Arjun Dev Ji, Akhnoor Road Domana, under the patronage of Sant Tejwant Singh Ji, `Dera Mukhi’ Sant Pura Danna.
The programme was organized with the active cooperation of Joginder Singh Bali and Updesh Kour Bali (Hongkong Waley), Baldev Singh, and Adv Surinder Kour, Bhagri family from USA and Jeet Singh of Holand and others followers of Dera Sant Pura Dana.
Giani Jagtar Singh, Head Granthi Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar was present on the occasion and spoke on the life and teachings of Sikh Gurus, Gurvani enshrined in Guru Granth Sahib and paid homage to Sant Gurbaksh Singh Danna.
Renowned Ragi Jathas S. Gurpreet Singh from Jallandhar, Bhai Jagtar Singh of Jammu, Bhai Jagir Singh Hazuri Ragi Sant Pura Danna, S Parminder Singh, S Kulbir Singh, S Davinder Singh, S Dharmvir Singh and other prominent local Ragis recited Gurbani Kirtan and conveyed the message of great Sikh Gurus and Sri Guru Granth Sahib.
Harpinder Singh Incharge Dharam Parchar Committee from SGPC, Kulwant Singh & Jagjit Singh both Parcharaks also participated in the Samagam.
Charanjit Singh Khalsa former MLC, Ajay Sadotra Ex Minister, S Surinder Singh Adv Trustee Sant Pura Dana Charitable,, Kavinder Gupta- Ex Deputy Chief Minister & S Balkar Singh MLA of AAP from Kartarpur Punjab also spoke on the life of Sant Gurbaksh Singh Ji Danna and also appealed to the people to follow the path shown by Sri Guru Granth Sahib for the world peace and for the well being of humanity.
Other prominent Sikh personalities including Baldev Singh CEO Peaks Auto, Surjit Singh Secretary DGPC Jammu, S Harminder Singh CPO, SKS Mehta Educationist paid homage to Sant Gurbaksh Singh Danna and urged the community to follow path shown by Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji.
Sant Tejwant Singh honoured various meritorious students, social NGO’s including United Sikhs, Sikhs 4 All Foundation, Guru Amardass Sewa Society, Guru Nanak Langar Mission and others. The stage was conducted by Manjeet Singh as secretary.
