Samba police seizes 6 more vehicles for illegal mining

SAMBA, Feb 21: On the directions of SSP Samba, Benam Tosh, Police have seized six more vehicles which were being used for illegal mining in district Samba.
Police teams comprising of SHO, Police Station Samba, Rajeshwar Singh, in charge Police Post Goran, PSI, Sajid Jaral and in charge, Police Post Rajpura, PSI, Sudhir Singh Charak under the supervision of Dy. SP Headquarters, Samba Mohammad Usman and Additional SP Samba, Surinder Choudhary have seized six more vehicles being used for illegal mining at different locations in Samba district.
The seized vehicles included Tractor Trolleys bearing Registration Number, JK08G-0852, JK20-5014, JK02Q-4130, JK21B-1279, JK21F-8311 and one Tractor Trolley was without Registration Number.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Benam Tosh said that total 16 vehicles have been seized in a short span of time for illegal mining by Samba Police after launching special drive against illegal mining and police would continue checking the wrongdoings of mining mafia till illegal extraction is completely stopped in the district.
